That Taylor is sooo hot right now. Fresh off her funny Saturday Night Live monologue and Kate Gosselin impression, the 19-year-old country crossover won Entertainer of the Year at the Country Music Awards last night, the youngest person ever to take home the top honor.
According to E! Online, no one pulled a Kanye and interrupted her speech this time. However, Carrie Underwood did try to do-si-do her way back into the spotlight. ”How ’bout that?” said cohost Brad Paisley after Taylor accepted the award. “Nineteen years old…Congratulations, Taylor. What a night. I can’t even imagine a better—”
“And how were we? We were awesome!” interrupted Underwood, who sang and had a ridiculous amount of costume changes. By then, though, the show was over.
Here’s the list of the other winners:
Single: “I Run to You,” Lady Antebellum
Album: “Fearless,” Taylor Swift
Song: “In Color,” Jamey Johnson, Lee Thomas Miller, James Otto
Female Vocalist: Taylor Swift
Male Vocalist: Brad Paisley
Vocal Group: Lady Antebellum
Vocal Duo: Sugarland
Musical Event: “Start a Band,” Brad Paisley (duet with Keith Urban)
Musician: Mac McAnally
Music Video: “Love Story,” Taylor Swift
New Artist: Darius Rucker
Taylor is clearly country’s darling right now, showing up three times on the list. How about Darius Rucker as New Artist though? He may sound new to you, but I’m not fooled. That’s Hootie! As in, Hootie and the Blowfish!

I love Taylor Swift and all, but she did not deserve female vocalist of the year. I can understand her winning all the other awards, but c’mon, we all know Martina McBride or Carrie Underwood could outsing her anyday.
i think Taylor Swift rocked those awards she got!! she the BOMB like TIC TOCK!!!! BOOYAH!!!!
