Palin’s about to get the O effect. This Monday, November 16, Sarah Palin’s much-anticipated interview with Oprah will air on TV. According to the Los Angeles Times, Oprah asks the former Vice Presidential candidate if Levi Johnston, the father of Bristol Palin’s baby, will be coming to Thanksgiving dinner. Check out the video:

“That’s a great question because it’s lovely to even think he would even consider such a thing,” Palin said. “Because of course he is a part of the family. … He needs to know he is loved. …This can all work out for good, it really can. We don’t have to keep going down this road of controversy and drama.”

Oprah then asked what we were all thinking: “Does that mean yes, he is coming, or no he’s not?” Of course, you’ll have to wait til Monday to see the answer.

Oprah also asked Sarah about her infamously bad interview with Katie Couric. Does she think it was a defining moment? “I did not, and neither did the campaign,” Sarah said. “The campaign said, ‘Right on. Good. You’re showing your independence. This is what America needs to see. This was a good interview.’ And I’m thinking, ‘If you thought that was a good interview, I don’t know what a bad interview is.’ Because I knew it wasn’t a good interview.”

Here’s my question: why do we need more interviews with Sarah Palin? She’s not a politician anymore. What is she?
