When I was first introduced to Leaf and Rusher, a small Beverly Hills based skincare line developed by cosmetic surgeon Dr. Norman Leaf and R.N. Russel Rand, I thought it was ridiculously expensive. I was a little shocked that a small, baby brand would be so high priced, but they (sort of) made up for it with generous sized samples. This was how I first tried the Green Tea Wash, with lots and lots of samples. I accidentally left one sample at my mom’s house and she loved it and begged me to get her a bottle. Then she found out how much it cost.
Fortunately, the powers that be over at Leaf and Rusher have realized the error of their ways and have significantly lowered the price of their products. I can finally buy a bottle without buyer’s remorse or guilt. This cleanser is good for all skin types, and it is still a little on the pricey side, but if you have sensitive skin it’s worth the money.
Leaf and Rusher Green Tea Wash is a soap-free cleanser that gently removes dirt and impurities while leaving the skin soft and hydrated. Because it is soap-free, it won’t lather up like an ordinary cleanser, instead it rinses away clean with no residue. Enriched with green tea, antioxidants, licorice, essential amino acids, grapefruit, bois de rose, and tangerine, the scent is clean, invigorating and a perfect wake-me-up scent.
My sensitive skin really likes this cleanser, it almost glows when I use it, and the redness in my cheeks is reduced to a more even tone. It cleanses gently without stripping the skin, a big plus, and controlled my oily t-zone well. Some other noteworthy Leaf and Rusher products are the Rapid Resurface and the TX for Lips. Speaking of which, I heard through the grapevine that Brad Pitt loves the TX for Lips so much that he buys it by the case. I wonder if Angelina uses it too?
