J. Lo Falls at the AMAs (VIDEO)

“I’m throwing on my Louboutins,” Jennifer Lopez sang at last night’s American Music Awards. But those ridiculously expensive shoes might not be the right choice for walking up a staircase made of shirtless men, since J Lo fell on her famous booty right afterward. According to The Los Angeles Times, the slip was edited out for viewers on the West Coast, but news of the fall quickly spread across the internet.  Such the pro, 40 year-old J Lo bounced right back up and continued with her performance. Honestly, there’s not really much to see. Some are speculating that her bouncy booty had something to do with her resilience, but I think that’s pretty silly.

J Lo’s song “Louboutins” comes from her seventh album, Love?, which will be released in March of next year. I seriously doubt the fall was a publicity stunt, but it may not have been so unfortunate, since it’s having the effect of getting people talking about her again (seriously, when was the last time anyone thought about J Lo?). I never thought she was that fantastic of a singer, but I have to admit that she looks pretty fab, slippery Louboutins or not.
