I am a Martha Stewart booster. I cheered for her while she paced her prison cell, I cheer when she teaches me how to fold a fitted sheet, and YOU BETCHA I loved this moment from the Grand Dame of Good Things.
A few highlights, if you’re too lazy to watch, included this gem, “She’s very boring to me, very boring. To me – kind of ah, a dangerous person. She’s dangerous! She speaks – she’s so confused. And anyone like that in government is a real problem,” as well as, “I wouldn’t watch her if you paid me.”
Zing!
And of course, when the CNN reporter points out to MStew that Palin’s book is a best seller, Stewart replies very sarcastically, “Good for her.”
Here we have two women, both “self-made” people — Martha, the architect of her own media empire, and Sarah, a hockey mom transformed by national identity politics. One hyper-articulate, one not so much — but both are women whose identities stand independently on their own, without their menfolk. So let us know, who do *you* relate to more?
subjective statements. i’ve never heard palin say anything dangerous. i don’t support her as a presidential candidate, but she’s far from dangerous.
martha is a convicted felon (4 felony counts), after all. that tells us about *her* character, doesn’t it.

Martha’s the convicted felon, who was in prison, Sarah Palin was a mayor and a governor, and hasn’t spent any time in prison. I’d trust Sarah Palin over a jealous old bag like Martha any day.
How dare Martha Stewart slam Sarah Palin in such a vicious way? We forgave MS for her CRIME and supported her when she finished her rightfully deserved prison term. But, this is too much. It is obvious to me that she is only jealous of Sarah Palin and she has seen the last dollar she will ever get from me!

Martha took it like a man, never pointed the finger at anyone…she did her time and came back and picked up the pieces, nothing vicious about her. She as an opinion and I happen to share it.
She is just out there making gingerbread houses, and I love her for it.

Martha was the victim of just the kind of corrupt government that supports Sarah. They want a dumb bimbo that will be a mouthpiece for them, just like Dubbya was. I’m so tired of people saying Sarah is beautiful or has 5 kids…soooo? What about the fact that she was a total failure as governor and has many ethics violations to explain. How can people be so ignorant? You want her for babysitter, fine. That’s about the most she should be trusted to do.
No Martha’s right. Palin is dangerous, because she’s an idiot who thinks she could run this country. Palin’s dumber than Dan “Potatoe” Quayle. She’d look like a total tool if she were ever on the show Jeopardy!. Palin couldn’t even hold her own on the high school edition. I’d be surprised if she appeared on Fox Network’s, “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader,” and didn’t blow it. Of course Fox would feed Sarah softball questions with the answers since they’ve hitched their wagon to her. Face it, take away her makeup and hair dye and she’d scare small children, because she’d look more like a wicked witch from Grimm’s Fairy Tales. By 2012 she’ll be long in the tooth and she doesn’t appear to be aging too well. Could you imagine listening to her whiny, shrill voice if heaven forbid she were president? Her ideas about government are absolutely frightening.
