A Behind-the-Scenes Peek at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show (VIDEO)
Leave it to Victoria’s Secret to put on an over-the-top fashion show featuring next to no clothes. One that both guys and girls can enjoy, albeit for entirely different reasons. But it happens every year. And this year, one lucky fella got a chance to go backstage, with a camera, and capture the behind-the-scenes excitement. Before the show airs tonight, here’s a little glimpse at what you can expect.
The backstage photos are just a tiny taste of “The Show That Never Disappoints.” Sorry guys, they’re probably not the kind of photos you are hoping to see. They more a flurry of feathers and diamonds; flower-draped wings and sequins. The stuff us girls go ga-ga for. Although there are a couple photos that might wind up as the screensavers on the computers of a couple guys.
It’s always an over-the-top mix of fantasy and fantasies. I mean, the costumes are so elaborate, I’m not sure the lingerie retailer isn’t doing itself a disservice. It’s hard to focus on what the garments look like when the model is also sporting armor made of 4-inch crystal spikes. Or a corseted dress made of balloons. But, it makes for a really fun show. And once again, one lucky model will strut the runway in a $3 million bra. Even luckier is the girl who get’s that bra as a Christmas gift, although I’m not sure if any one has ever bought the budget-breaking brassiere. But they send one down the runway every year.
Oh, yeah, and Heidi Klum once again struts her stuff down the runway just weeks after giving birth to her fourth child making women the world over feel bad. No, we love Heidi. Women are secretly plotting her death, but we love her. She also hosts the show. Is there nothing that woman can’t do?
