In the never ending quest to repair my hair from all of the abuse of heat styling, I have rediscovered an old favorite conditioner of mine, Terax Crema. I used to use it religiously years ago, but eventually switched and forgot how much I liked it. That is, until now.
Terax Crema is a medium to heavy weight conditioner that has a light, sweet herb scent that claims to have a special PH that opens up the hair cuticle, allowing the moisture to penetrate the hair shaft. I’m not too sure if it really does what it claims, but I do like how my hair feels and looks now that I am using it again.
What I really love Crema for, though, is for when I don’t want to blow out my naturally curly hair, but rather just let it be free. I mix a little styling gel with a generous amount of Crema and just scrunch away. It really helps my curls dry soft and frizz free, and can be reactivated the next day with a few spritzes from a spray bottle.
Crema can also be used as a mask for seriously damaged hair that is in need of some intense moisture as well as an everyday conditioner. And I will be using it as a mask after my next color session. Also, it works great for de-tangling snarled hair.
Crema has been a cult favorite for years and is worth looking for. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
