The question has been posed, “Why has Paris Hilton disappeared?” Now, we are all charged with contemplating the answer. But, before we can do that, we must actually believe she is truly on her way out of the media spotlight that she’s been living in for the past eight years. For good. And I, for one, am not convinced. But, for argument’s sake, I will entertain the question in the hopes that she and fame are truly on the outs.
We still see and hear too much about Paris Hilton these days given the fact that she does nothing of note. But, thinking about it now, coverage of her trivial outings (a Starbucks run, for instance) are becoming rare. And her appearances on red carpets are nearly non-existent. That’s a huge change from the days when she practically lived on the red carpet. Remember when Paris and Kimberly Stewart rode choppers on a red carpet and Kimberly gunned it, sending her tumbling off as the shutterbugs captured the entire scene? Okay, so that was actually a fun memory. But what is missing these days are the stories about Paris Hilton’s doggie drama (remember when Tinker Bell was missing?); the late-night alcohol-soaked clubbing photos; the mug shots, court dates and jail time. Oh, and all those crotch shots.
At one time Paris had a reality show (“The Simple Life”), a sex tape, and invitations to all the best parties. Now it seems no one wants her except for her reality-douche boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt. And the stories about the couple are few and far between.
There are two possible explanations for the Paris media slide.
Either she’s reformed her life and no longer does the things people like to gossip about.
OR
The media and the public have finally gotten sick of constantly hearing about the daily happenings of a spoiled socialite.
I’m leaning toward the latter. Think about it, once E! stopped reporting on Heidi and Spencer, they pretty much ceased to exist in the public sphere. I think the same is happening with Paris. After all, taking away the VIP invitations and paparazzi pretty much puts Paris Hilton out of business.

I think people are disliking Paris, obviously maybe because shes losing fame or not making enough movies, some people say shes not a good enough actress or shes not doing too good on her cereer or something, i like her because shes pretty, but people dont think what i think, Paris Hilton is gorgeous.
it’s good to know that, eventually, these gossip-site mainstays disappear (or lets hope so, at least). now we just need to work on speeding up that process.
starting with the gosselins.
