“Biggest Loser” 2009 Finale Before & After Pictures (VIDEO)
Last night marked the season 8 finale of NBC’s The Biggest Loser, and it was filled with surprises and shocking transformations. The four finalists were Danny, Rudy, and Amanda (who America voted for again, leaving Liz to compete with the at-home contestants. All three looked amazingly fit, especially Danny and Rudy, who both began the show above the 400-pound mark.
SPOILER ALERT! Before getting to the finalists and the $500,000 prize, the at-home contestants weighed in, with Julio and Tracey rising to the top of the pack before a newly-blonde Rebecca blew everyone away and took home the $100,000 prize. Click here for before & after photos.
Before getting to the finale three, there were some fun surprises: Antoine proposed to fellow cast member Alexandra. She said yes, and whispered that it was the ring she wanted. They’re really the cutest couple, and they both look so happy. Subway also surprised Shay, who was The Biggest Loser’s heaviest contestant ever, weighing 476 pounds at the premiere. She’s now down to 304, but she knows her journey is long from over – so she’ll be invited back to the 2010 finale, where Subway will pay her $1,000 for every pound that she’s lost. She’s hoping to be 204 and get $100,000!

Congratulations, Danny! A 239-pound loss! He really does look like a different person. All the contestants are such an inspiration.
