Superfamily the Duggars have welcomed their 19th bundle of joy into the world. According to People magazine, Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar met their new daughter, Josie Brooklyn, at 6:27 p.m. yesterday at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. The premature baby weighed in at 1 lb., 6 oz.
Michelle, who has been in the hospital recovering from a gallstone, was taken to the OR for an emergency C-section after the stone caused early contractions. She is resting comfortably and the baby is stable and in the NICU for extended care, said a rep from TLC.
“The most important thing right now is for mom and baby Josie to get as much rest as possible,” said the statement. “The family is grateful for all the prayers and well wishes during their recovery.”
Michelle and Jim Bob are the stars of TLC’s realty series “18 Kids and Counting,” which airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. I guess they threw that “and counting” part in there so they don’t have to keep changing the name! The Duggars seem much more functional than Jon and Kate Gosselin, but can you imagine having 19 children? Would you really be able to provide each one with enough attention? And I’m sure the reality show helps, but raising 19 kids must be exorbitantly expensive!

Amanda, I guess you don’t watch the show. They do very well. So many others, including the Gosselins, should take note of how.
