Christmas is just three short shopping  days away. If you haven’t checked off all the names on your list, you are running out of time to get gifts. But, not to worry. All you procrastinators out there, you still have time. Perhaps, you’ve put off shopping for a certain person because you have no idea what to get them. Like that picky fashionista on your list. Well, if you’re stumped, here are some last-minute gift ideas that might help you wrap up your Christmas shopping for 2009:

wool-and-gang-1

For the Do-it-Yourself Gal

-a knit kit by Wool and the Gang is the perfect gift for the fashionable crafter. The kits range from beginner to advanced, so they are suitable for any skill level. Each kit is packed with everything needed to make great goodies, from sweater vests to purses. Mind you, they’re a little pricey ($59-$189), but worth it. They are available online (which is risky this late in the game) or at New High Mart in the Los Angeles neighborhood of Los Feliz.

rodarte-1

For the Designer Diva

-any piece from Rodarte’s line for Target would surely light up her face on Christmas morning. But, get yourself to the nearest Target as quickly as you can. These goodies are being snatched up by Rodarte-hungry fashionistas at an alarming rate. The line has lots of pretty party dresses embellished with bows and tulle as well as t-shirts, blouses, belts, skirts and jackets. All of which are reasonably priced (dresses go for around $39.99 and t-shirts start at $12.99).

fashion-book-1

For the Fashion Intellectual

- a subscription to a fashion magazine would be a great gift. And it’s cheap, too! Vogue is offering a one-year subscription for just $15. For the more avant-garde fashion lover, a subscription to W costs just $12. Or, if you’re fashionable friend or family member is into the latest trends, a one-year subscription to Elle is just $10 (or two years for $16). Another good idea for the fashion-minded reader might be a fashion coffee-table book. Check out Taschen or your nearest Barnes and Noble for a great selection.
