How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. One, two…..five, six…..”NINE.” Rob Marshall, the man behind all the jazz of “Chicago” has delivered to us yet another blockbuster musical stacked with Tinsel Town’s sexiest leading ladies. And a pop star thrown in for good measure (and consistency). So, in the spirit off all that is glamorous, all that is sexy, and all that is Hollywood, here’s a look back at the nine most memorable fashion moments from the ladies of “Nine.”

I feel obligated to include Fergie somewhere on this list, but I’m just not a fan of her style. She certainly does have her own flare and a ballsy approach to dressing. So, for that, I give her my appreciation and the number nine spot on this list.

Nobody does Hollywood glamour like Nicole Kidman. Nobody! I remember seeing her walk the Golden Globes red carpet in 2003 in this strapless grey (nay, lavender) gown and I just died. With the huge gold earrings and slicked hair she looked ready to break into the flamenco.

Also at the Globes that year was a young and golden Kate Hudson, who wore a look totally different from Kidman’s. But it was all her own! Ever the bohemian California girl, Hudson looked like she took a note from Joni Mitchell in this tapestry-inspired gown. It was elegant and simple and totally unique on the red carpet.

What do you get when you combine Chanel’s iconic No. 5 perfume with Nicole Kidman? Well, you get one of the most unapologetically dramatic commercials in history. And it was lovely. Like a scene from “Moulin Rouge,” but with less disgusting sex-crazed men. The campaign played upon Kidman’s statuesque movie star image. Her pink dress billowing out across the street as she runs….magic!

While this wasn’t my favorite look of Penelope Cruz’s, it was nonetheless a stunning ensemble. Everything worked together, from the hair to the jewelry to the gorgeous Versace dress. It was quite the talking point for days after the 2007 Academy Awards.

Most people in the U.S. hadn’t heard of French actress Marion Cotillard before she stepped onto the red carpet at the 2008 Oscar’s after being nominated (and eventually winning the best actress award) for her role in “La Vie En Rose.” Her white mermaid gown from Jean Paul Gaultier got mixed reviews, but it is one of my all-time favorites. It was risky and sexy and really put her on the map as a fashion icon.

Sophia Loren. Period. The woman has defined sexy for decades. She is a film and fashion icon. In 2008, Guess created an ad campaign in her likeness. The black and white photos were so dead-on for the Italian sex bomb, that you’d think it was really her.

Nicole Kidman’s embroidered chartreuse gown by Christian Dior that she wore to the 1997 Oscars put her out front of her then husband and mega movie star, Tom Cruise. That is the day people became more interested in her than in the little man standing next to her. To this day, it is one of the most memorable Oscar gowns ever.

Hello! The movie itself is the number one fashion moment! Having all these stunning ladies together in one movie takes the cake. Can’t wait to see it! Oh, the glamour!
