We all have high hopes for 2010. A new year, a new decade — maybe it’s finally time to even find a good guy. And we can follow Rihanna’s example! According to E! Online, the pop star has moved on from abusive R&B singer Chris Brown to LA Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp. The two were seen smooching, hot-tubbing and more (!) in Mexico — and after taking a look at his muscly arms, I’m more than a tad jealous.
Matt, 24, hails from Oklahoma and goes by the nickname ”The Bison” because of how big and fast he is. He also has a big heart: according to the Dodgers website, he launched a community initiative entitled Kemp’s Kids in 2008, hosting area youth at four games at Dodger Stadium. Over the past few years he’s also participated in several charity events: bowling with kids, visiting hospitals, and hosting a casino night to benefit Talk About Curing Autism (TACA). Wowza! Big improvement, Rihanna.
Rihanna, 21, has also been busy; she spent the holidays in Barbados with her family before jetting off to Abu Dhabi to celebrate the New Year. (Did you hear that they made her cover up? No pointy bras, latex, whips or high heels.) In March she’ll kick off a European tour in support of her latest album, Rated R, which was released in November.
