Should I Stay or Should I Go Now? Don’t Do It Elin Nordegen!

The latest rumor on the Tiger Woods front: he and wife Elin Nordegen are going to try to “work things out,” according to an article from msnbc.com.

I know marriage vows include the words “Til Death Do Us Part” and the reality of life is that infidelity can breach even the happiest of relationships. But, we are not talking about a one-time mistake, or having an affair and later repenting for such asshole behavior — we are talking about nine women, some of whom are porn stars, being Tiger Woods’ equipment on his sex playground. If this behavior doesn’t scream “I don’t respect you and I don’t love you,” then what would Tiger have to do to convince his wife he has no regard for her or their family?

The whole whipped puppy-dog persona Tiger has recently adopted isn’t fooling me, and I hope it doesn’t fool his wife either. “I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart. I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves. I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect,” Tiger stated on his site.

NO? Really?! You recognize you’re a bad person and you’ve made a mistake you regret after affair number one. When you’ve chalked up nine women you’ve had an affair with, that the public knows about, you just regret getting caught. Plain and simple.

I know there’s a camp out there who says, “Stay, for the children….” Well I’m the one saying, “Go. For the children.” They can still have a father who loves them and a mother with some dignity and self-respect.

So, Elin, I’m asking you to finally be the woman in a sea of Bill Clinton and Kobe Bryant wives to say, “I’m not putting up with this. I don’t care how rich or how powerful you are. I deserve more.”
