It’s too late to crash Vince Vaughn’s wedding! According to People magazine, the star of Wedding Crashers and Couples Retreat got hitched to fiance Kyla Weber on Saturday in a small private ceremony outside of his hometown of Chicago.
Vince, 39, proposed to Kyla, 31, a Canadian real estate agent, last Valentine’s Day. “They could not be happier,” said a friend. The wedding took place at a historic mansion. Aww. It’s kind of refreshing to see a huge celebrity settle down with a regular person.
Back in September, Vince told People that after years as a bachelor he was ready for his life “to be about other people and other things” – even diaper duty. “It’s the first time that I really want to have kids,” he said. It seems like his life started to parallel his character in Four Christmases! Luckily, Kyla seems a little taller than Reese Witherspoon, because those two were such an awkward physical couple onscreen (Vince is a towering 6′5”). It’s a little disappointing, though. Do I have to wait for men to be almost 40 before they want to settle down? I guess I’d better start dating older dudes.
Although Vince had previously been dating Jennifer Aniston, this is the first time he’s tied the knot (same for Kyla).
