As you may have guessed from some of my previous posts, I love Make Up For Ever! The newest line of High Definition products are fantastic, and I can’t live without my HD Foundation Finishing Powder. Up until now I’ve always used MUFE Lift Concealer for my dark circles, but the new HD Invisible Concealer has stolen my heart. I’m sure that once you try it it will steal yours too.
First off, I really like the packaging as it is a slim pen similar to some of the click-turn wands that lip glosses come in, but the brush is different. It’s actually a silicone tip that is designed to prevent streaking. I still prefer to pat my concealer on with my finger, but it prevents my purse from squeezing out excess product if I don’t screw the cap on tightly–which happened all the time with my Lift Concealer.
The texture is wonderful, a light and easily blendable formula that works wonders on my dark circles. Plus, it matches my skin tone perfectly (#340 Sand), looks smooth and undetectable (even when powdered), and stayed in place all day with minimal creasing. Who am I kidding? This concealer had me at hello.
One thing about the delivery system is that as you are turning the bottom to bring the concealer to the tip, you have to wait a second after each click. It takes some time for it to travel up the tube and, if you turn it, the concealer will continue to flow and you will end up with way more that you need. I learned that the hard way, and there is no way to put it back in the container, so go slowly until you know just how much you will need. Available exclusively at Sephora.
