I feel that Catelynn and Tyler definately did the right thing. They made a very mature decision to put their daughter up for adoption. They thought about their daughters well being which was a selfless act. They could have raised her themselves but they knew at this time in their lives she would be better off with a family that could give her the life they never had. They were able to give a husband and wife a wonderful miracle that they could not do on their own unfortunately.
Catelynn and Tyler you two are wonderful.

I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinions but to base everyones life and experiences off your own is a little ignorant… I think it is great that you decided to keep your kids and I am with you there but with the environment that both Catelynn and Tyler where living in I think they were right to avoid subjecting a young child to it. I admire them for being so young but still putting their daughter’s needs before their own. About the whole condom issue, not everyone is tought about safe sex and we have to remember that these are teenagers… Tyler and Catelynn may not have made the right choice to have unprotected sex, but everything they have since is no short of adult decisions.

The last time i was pregnant I had an abortion and not i cant have no more babies cause i am fixed. It makes sex much better cause theres no worry bout if hes protected.

Actualy if u listened on what Catelynn and Tyler said in their interview with Dr Drew…. They said “They could of brought her up. they wanted to but at the same time they wanted her to have a happy life growing up… with how messed up catelynnes mum and tylers dad are they made the fucking right choice… u were a teen mom and decided to have yours… thats good for you.. some may want too some may not but thats their choice so keep your opinions about adoption to yourself pal.

I think that was the dumb decision they made to give their baby up for the adoption with the excuse that they didnt have no money to support her but it’s so funny how they got money to get tattoos done, buy name brand clothes, buy a ring and go eating out to restaurants but they didnt have money to buy the baby anything, thats the stupidest thing i ever heard, i would never give my kids for adoption. I have twins and i had them when i was 18, i was a teen mom too and i did evrything i had to do to get my babies what they needed, yea it was hard but tyler and catelynn is excuse its that they didnt have money, well they should’ve used a condom when they were having sex and knew what could happened if the gotten pregnant

I love the show and the stories you all told but i think that ryan is the biggest idiot on the planet, and that maci would have better life with the support system she has. Because in my opinion ryan is just a waste of air and time. As long as Bentley has contact with his parental family her job is done but she can definately do much better than ryan’s idiot self. Also I love Tyler he really really rocks. I would love to see a reality tv show with catelynn and tyler as they transition from high school into adult life and college life i would really watch.

I am a 61 year old grandmother but do enjoy MTV and happened upon the show. I find it very interesting-Catelynn and Maci are my favorites as they seem to have a more mature attitude toward things. I can only imagine how hard it would be to relinquish a child after carrying it for 9 months but think Catelynn made the right decision even tho it was painful.
