High-Tech Undies Promise Fewer Wrinkles

bra-1
How silly we’ve been. Until now, we’ve simply been using bras and underwear to push up our boobs to give the illusion of a fuller chest and tuck in our love handles to give the impression of a smaller waist. We never imagined that our underwear could actually make real changes to our bodies. Ones that might last after the the bra and panties come off.

I guess it’s not just our faces that we women are supposed to be worried about these days. Now it’s the skin between our breasts, our beloved cleavage, that we need to protect from wrinkles. One bra, set to debut at an upcoming Paris lingerie show, is claiming to prevent wrinkling of the decolletage if it’s worn at night. Apparently, the cup-less bra keeps a woman’s boobs from squishing together while she sleeps, thus preventing a crinkling of the cleavage. Sexy, right? Another brassiere contains milk proteins that hydrate the skin.

And then…there is the push-up bra to end all push-up bras. A bra that responds to a woman’s body temperature, expanding and contracting . It’s supposed to be great because flirting causes an increase in body temperature, which in-turn causes this “smart” bra to expand, giving a woman a little extra “umph”, great for impressing the cute guy she’s trying to snag. But, isn’t a guy going to be freaked out when he sees a girls breasts expanding as they talk? Wait, never mind, stupid question.

I guess woman are supposed to find all this technology exciting. I don’t. These inventions seem more restrictive then the bras we already have to wear. I’d rather sleep bra-less and face future wrinkles than spend 24 hours a day bound on top. Plus, no fancy expanding bra made of NASA-patented memory foam (the same stuff used to make mattresses) is sexier than a little flash of black lace. Apparently, this is not the consensus of the male population.
