Urban Decay + Alice In Wonderland = A Match Made in Heaven

Is anyone else as excited as I am to see the new Alice in Wonderland movie? Billboards are starting to pop up in my neighborhood and everyone looks awesome (even Johnny Depp in his multi-colored lashes). I have a feeling this movie’s stunning visuals will have an impact on makeup trends this spring and it seems I’m not the only one.

Disney and Urban Decay have partnered up and are now offering the Alice in Wonderland Book of Shadows 3-D Palette. This limited edition (extremely limited, there is already a wait list) palette has a 3-D lid, similar to a pop up book, with a mirror and a little pop-up Alice gazing into the mirror with various Wonderland images surrounding her. It’s too cute for words. The shadows are housed in a “secret” drawer underneath the pop-up. The entire kit includes:

16 Eyeshadows: Underland (Flash), Alice (Painkiller), Oraculum (Baked), Queen (Last Call), Chessur (Chopper), White Rabbit (Polyester Bride), Wonderland (Maui Wowie), Curiouser (Grifter), Muchness (X), Mushroom (Mushroom), Midnight Tea Party (Midnight Cowboy Rides Again), Vorpal (S&M), Absolem (Homegrown), Drink Me Eat Me (Sin), Mad Hatter (Twice Baked), Jabberwocky (Oil Slick). PLUS Travel-size 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Zero and Flipside, and Eyeshadow Primer Potion (travel size).

I think this will be somewhat collectible and am not sure if I will use it if I can get my hands on one. It’s just too adorable I wouldn’t want to ruin it by getting shadow all over the place. As for the color selection, it’s so varied you could create hundreds of different looks with this palette and just let your creativity take over.
