It’s time for another collaboration between Target and (insert fabulous designer’s name here). This time, that fabulous designer is, drumroll please … Zac Posen! The devilish boy-about-town has created a GO! International collection for Target that will make you want to party like it’s 1999. Or, rather, 1989. What the heck, it will make you want to party!
I’m still recovering from my harrowing, but worthwhile, Rodarte experience and now I’m faced with yet another great designer collection that I can actually afford! If just barely. Which makes for one helluva dilemma. I can admire Zac Posen’s ready-to-wear collections during fashion week from afar without the pang of desire to buy everything I see. The prices are so lofty, they do not enter into my realm of possible purchases. So my money stays put. But when Zac pairs with Target to put out clothes so cute I could cry and so inexpensive I could buy, that’s when the money starts draining from my account like air out of a tire.
The Zac Posen collection is one of the most complete in the history of Target’s GO! International series of collaborations. Seriously, if you’ve got a great party to go to, you’re going to want to pick up something from this punky eighties-inspired collection. There’s a red ruffled party dress that needs to have a moment on the dance floor! And several seriously-short flirty frocks and low-cut one-piece swimsuits that are perfect for a colorfully hip outing at the beach. Check it out for yourself.
