It’s Twirlit Giveaway Wednesday, and this week we’re giving away the “Men on a Mission” calendars that have not only caused massive controversy because of the tongue-in-cheek nature of the muscled calendars, but have also shed more light on the political actions of the Mormon church. The creator of the controversial “Men on a Mission” calendar, Chad Hardy, said that his goal for creating the calendar was “to be a powerful progressive step in building a dialogue that encourages people across every belief system and walk of life to defy stereotypes, step out of judgment and embrace tolerance over fear.”
Instead, Hardy got excommunicated from the Mormon church. He also lost his BA degree in Communications Studies at the Mormon-owned Brigham Young University.
We’re giving away 10 “Men on a Mission” calendars here at Twirlit because of the following two reasons:
1) We like to look at hot guys
2) We promote freedom of expression

I like June the best. There’s just something magical about the summer months. And I really love warm, summer nights.

I’ve always loved August, Im not sure why, I guess growing up with the anticipation of starting school each fall, I still associate it with new beginnings.
