Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Kings of Leon all cleaned up at last night’s 2010 Grammy Awards. Here’s the list of winners:
RECORD OF THE YEAR
Kings of Leon – “Use Somebody”
I loved that the band admitted to being drunk, and promised to buy a shot for anyone they forgot to thank.
ALBUM OF THE YEAR
Taylor Swift – Fearless
I have to admit that Taylor is still cute and humble. It’s no surprise that she’s captured the hearts of every girl (and woman) in America.
SONG OF THE YEAR
Beyonce – “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)”
Ever the class act, Beyonce also is part of the cutest couple in music. Did you see Jay-Z clapping after her performance? All I can say is: Awwww!
BEST NEW ARTIST
Zac Brown Band
It’s not that I’m a total country hater, I swear, but I feel like you could walk into any bar south of the Mason Dixon and hear this band. There’s just nothing special about them.
