Miley Cyrus has been criticized for her un-PG behavior, including “pole dancing” at the Teen Choice Awards last year. It’s just people being oversensitive. But when it comes to Miley’s kid sister, people (and parents, especially) have a reason to be outraged: nine-year-old Noah Cyrus is coming out with a new lingerie line.
That’s right, LINGERIE. By a FOURTH GRADER. According to MSN, the tyke who has made headlines for dressing like a dominatrix for Halloween, skipping around a pole and performing the totally un-PG hits “Smack That” and “Tik Tok” is adding another inappropriate line to her resume. She’ll be teaming up with her pint-sized best friend Emily Grace to launch a children’s lingerie collection for “Ohh! La, La! Couture.”
The company’s website describes The Emily Grace Collection as having a “trendy, sweet, yet edgy feel, reminiscent of Emily’s true personality. She is collaborating with Ooh! La, La! Couture designers to create versatile styles that can be worn with sweet ballerina slippers, funky sneakers or paired with lace stockings and boots for more of a rock and roll look. Emily’s collection will appeal not just to little girls – the line also has an exclusive Teen Collection available to a size 14.”
Wow. Just wow. Nine-year-olds should not be wearing “lingerie.” If they wanted to launch a line of brightly colored cotton undies with butterflies on them, that’d be one thing. But “edgy” pieces to wear with lace stockings? Why are these girls’ parents letting them do this??

This sickens me. It's bad enough that when you're shopping for little girls, half the outfits on the rack are questionable anyway, but now this. I think I just threw up in my mouth. Billy Rae Cyrus is perhaps one of the worst parents in the history of parenting, exploiting his children and encouraging them to expose themselves for cash. He's like a pimp.

I have recently seen this PR related to this story and thought you should see it to. You should do a little more research before you spread lies: Ooh! La, La! Couture has been a reputable, upscale children's clothing brand since 2004. Our collection is based on delightful tutu dresses, which are pretty, fun and age-appropriate. Ooh! La, La! Couture does not make or promote a lingerie line and never will. Some of our clothes recently have been shown with accessories that weren’t made by us, and the Ooh! La, La! Couture name has been shown next to clothing that was not ours. Some people have incorrectly and unfairly assumed those items were our fashions. Ooh! La, La! Couture only makes tutu dresses, period. We only make clothes that are right for little girls and their families, and can be worn to birthday parties, ballet classes or play dates. The founders of Ooh! La, La!
