“My ultimate dream is to move to Jersey, find a nice, juiced, hot, tanned guy and live my life.” So goes the most famous quote from Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, the beloved drama queen of MTV’s Jersey Shore. She certainly looks the part, with her dark tan, big boobs, skimpy clothes and famous sky-high hair, known as “the poof.” But every time I see her doing press for the show, I get the feeling that she knows exactly what she’s doing - playing up the caricature.
According to The Huffington Post, Inside Edition saw some classy potential in Snooki, and gave her a tasteful “makeunder” which will be revealed on tonight’s episode. The new look means no more poof, a little less cleavage, and some classy, mature clothes. What do you guys think? I think she looks fantastic. Anderson Cooper called the gray dress “Kim Kardashian-esque,” which I definitely see. The blazer-and-sequin look is the most dramatic, and makes you think she could be some high-paid marketing executive. Snooki wasn’t thrilled with it: she said, “I feel like my grandmother.” The third look, a long black dress, still kept her girls on display, but I think the dress length and the romantic wavy hair are big improvements.
Will the look last? Probably not. She doesn’t make headlines for being “classy” and “tasteful,” does she?
