The novelty of Sarah Palin’s stupidity has yet to wear off for me, especially when she continues to give the American public bi-monthly doses of evidence.
The newest news on the Palin front is her campaign against people using the word “retarded.” Recently, she called for President Obama to fire his chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel, for calling liberal activists who wanted to run ads against conservative Democrats “f—— retarded” in a closed-door meeting at the White House. Shortly after calling for the President to fire his chief of staff for something said in a private meeting, the Jabba The Hut of Conservative Media (Rush Limbaugh, of course), used the “r” word in a public broadcast.
Liberal media members rushed for a comment from Palin, who has yet to officially comment. Her people issued this general statement, which was allegedly not directed toward Mr. Limbaugh, “Governor Palin believes crude and demeaning name calling at the expense of others is disrespectful.” This is a far cry from asking for a public figure to be fired.
Palin rushed to bring attention to a private comment while completely ignoring the fact that Rush Limbaugh used the word while having access to millions of listeners. I know “r” people who would easily be able to tell who has more influence on the American public and who should be made an example of.
This begs the question, is Sarah Palin the “r” word?
The President’s chief of staff issued a public apology for his comments in private. Rush Limbaugh, however, had the most insightful comment. “Our political correct society is acting like some giant insult’s taken place by calling a bunch of people who are retards, retards.”
Yes, in this instance, Palin is the “r” word, while Rush is right. It is a sad day, America.

The difference between Rush and Rahm is position. We expect our political leaders to maintain a certain quality of character, while simultaneously expecting our radio talk-show hosts to be rude and offensive. Would you hold Jon Stewart to the same standards of behavior as you would the Pope? If so, what would be the point of watching his show?

How long would Palin stand up to radio's reigning king of radical right-wing vitriol? Not long at all. The following day on his radio program, Limbaugh told listeners that a Palin representative had called him in a "panic" to explain her criticism. Heaven forbid she should offend Boss Limbaugh. Hey, Sarah, that's real mavericky! Palin leading the hypocricy parade and CHARGING big bucks for it.

This article and the comments don't seem to get the obvious. Palin is not on a one woman campaign to have the word "retarded" redacted from the national lexicon. She is on a one woman campaign to harass the Obama administration. And she has been quite successful at it. Every time she fires at the White House from upwind they scramble for cover.

It is so sad how Sara Palin pretends to be a Godly person but yet so petty,hypercrital,bitter and have alot of malice. She has only one agenda and that is to attack the President and the democrats. Not even concerned about the needs of people in this country.Sara reminds me of what the bible speaks of "wolves in white clothing". Pretending to be upright but underneath her thoughts are far from God (what is right). I can and have always seen through this so call women of God. I have been surprised how they just ignore her. The DEATH PANEL thing got a ripple going and THEN it won LIE OF THE YEAR, with Palin being BIGGIST LIAR of 2009. That took care of THAT. I mean, really, does Obama work up a sweat about any of this? Palin feverishly answers every one of Levi Johnston's remarks and just sort of answers anything that will give her a media buzz, but the professional people just sort of shine her on. She IS a joke, and I guess the JOKE is sort of on GLEN. Rahm apologized BECAUSE HE WAS GENUINELY WRONG, not because Sarah is a political opportunist. Sarah is Ok with Limbaugh using the word, the Special Olympics sent Rush the letter that Sarah SHOULD have. Oh yeah, she's scary but not for the things GLEN thinks.

Big FAIL for Richard. Take a step out of partisan politics Richard. The larger issue is the use of the "R" word - bad word to use. Shriver sent a letter to Emmanuel AND to Jabba. He made the same point with BOTH men because from his point of view, he's actually trying to get people to not use the "R" word in ANY context it is wrong, he didn't bloviate in the pursuit of furthering his personal career.
