I love bows! Bows on my shoes! Bows on my clothes. Bows on necklaces. Bows in my hair! Bows, bows, bows, everywhere! See, I love them so much I’m rhyming. They really are kind of magical. I mean, I really geek-out when it comes to bows! They can make any outfit delightful, whether you’re ten or 50. And, they’re quite the fashionable little decoration.
When it comes to bows and fashion, I find Luella Bartley to be the cat’s meow. She’s the British designer behind the line Luella and over the past couple seasons I have become completely smitten with her collections! Not only for the bows, but it’s safe to say they won me over! It’s hard to explain, but when a teal princess coat is worn with an orange bow in the hair, I just go crazy. The outfit takes on an entirely different feel when there’s a bow involved. How one small accessory can make such a difference b(l)ows my mind!
So much so that I have become a teeny bit obsessed with making my own bows to spruce up my wardrobe. Thankfully, I’ve found a plethora of websites to help me out. The Internet is teeming with bow lovers. One site gives a step-by-step guide to making your own bows. I insist, if you love bows like I love bows, check it out! After all, it would be nice to be able to afford Luella’s bows, but there’s just not enough money in the bank! Plus, making your own is part of the fun! You’re guaranteed that no one else will have the same one! You’ll be bow-nique!
