Designer Beauty Products For Your Four-Legged Friend

I’m more of a cat person, so on a recent trip to PetCo with a dog owner friend I was taken aback at the vast amount of fancy dog shampoo overloading the shelf. And then I came across PetHead by TIGI. At first I thought it was hilarious to think that a dog could have better grooming products than I do, but considering that it wasn’t the most expensive shampoo available, I changed my mind. Just a bit.

PetHead is a line of designer grooming products and accessories for all of you who just can’t help spoiling the bejesus out of your pooch. PetHead has it all, shampoos, conditioners and grooming sprays with clever names like Life’s an Itch for pooches with sensitive skin and Dry Clean a waterless spray shampoo that smells nice and clean.

I have no idea how one conditions a dog’s coat without making a huge mess, but if you know how they do, try out Furtastic for curly maned pups or So Spoiled, a conditioning treatment (do dogs get breakage?) that can help with matting and knotting of the coat.

The PetHead line also includes a number of punk inspired accessories so your pup can unleash its inner rockstar. The pink studded “bracelet” is really cute, but I know my cat would hate it. Oh well.
