I started it a couple of years ago while recovering from a major back muscle tear, I started with moves specifically for back pain sufferers and have continued ever since to continue to strengthen my back. I can’t believe the reduction in back pain I have experienced since starting yoga, I LOVE IT!

I began attending Yoga classes about 4 years ago originally because I wanted to treat my body to some peaceful, relaxing exercises so I could stay in shape in an environment I knew I would be comfortable in. Once I began getting into the daily Yoga routines and I had a solid understanding of what order I wanted to do my Yoga poses in, I gave up taking Yoga classes and began doing my Yoga routines in a special spot in our home that I designed just for me. A sort of Zen-like corner of the room that was mine. That is where I now do my daily 4 am Yoga routine. Yoga has become a solid part of my life, a ritual I look forward to everday not only to help me stay in great healthy shape physically, but to keep me grounded and in tune with myself spiritually. I can’t imagine going through a day without Yoga as it is now part of my lifestyle. I find I am more comfortable with myself on so many levels as a result of it, less stressed, in control of my emotions, and always ready to begin the day’s new journey when I am done with my routine.
