And I am telling you, this is no dream! Former “Dreamgirl” Jennifer Hudson has finally, since her big Hollywood debut on the Golden Globes red carpet in 2007, found a sense of style! And it’s got edge. And personality. And a rockin’ body filling it all out!
It seems motherhood has really done Jennifer Hudson’s body good. She looks better than ever. Seriously, designers, advertisers and magazine editors should take note! This is what a healthy female figure looks like. Although Hudson is blessed with a little more “umph” than most in the breast department. But, I digress. Let’s get back to the fashion. The singer/actress really turned it out on Grammy weekend! First in a futuristic purple leather dress at a pre-party and then on Grammy night in a black tuxedo-inspired cocktail dress by Victoria Beckham.
I think it’s going to take a little time, and a few more amazing outfits, to erase the memories of some of Hudson’s red carpet moments from the past. Like that gold jacket she wore over her dress at the 2007 Oscars (even though most of the blame for that outfit went to Andre Leon Talley) or all the ill-fitting dresses she’s worn. But, she is off to a good start. Hudson is putting the past in it’s place and taking some very fashionable steps forward in the new year.
