Kelly Ripa’s not quite the sweet, wholesome Barbie she appears to be in all those Electrolux ads. According to The Huffington Post, this morning on Live with Regis and Kelly, she showed off her edgy side with a brand new tattoo!
It’s actually the second tat for 39 year-old Kelly, who already has a flower tattoo on her inner ankle. This time, she got the name “Consuelos” on her wrist (she’s been married to former All My Children costar Mark Consuelos for 13 years). Maybe she feels guilty about not taking his last name?
Kelly said of the tattoo, “It’s a little inky but it will heal.” She said she got inked at Saved Tattoo in Brooklyn. What do you guys think? Is the tattoo design cool or lame? I’m generally against tattoos…I feel like 90% of them look dirty or faded. I also don’t feel so strongly about a word or picture that I want to brand it on my skin for the rest of my life. But I guess a husband is a good subject. The wrist is so visible, though. Clearly Kelly never wants to hide it!
Kelly and Mark have three children together: Michael, Lola and Joaquin. Maybe their names will be Kelly’s next tattoos!
Kelly Ripa’s daughter’s name is LOLA, not Grace!
