From under-qualified VP nominee to tell-all author to Fox News contributor, Sarah Palin STILL hasn’t had enough of the spotlight. According to Entertainment Weekly, she has teamed with Survivor creator Mark Burnett to go out and pitch a docudrama featuring a “planet-Earth-type look” at her home state of Alaska.
Palin was seen leaving ABC yesterday with Burnett, and an insider confirmed that she also met with executives on Tuesday at Fox, where she and her family ended the day by visiting American Idol. Palin stayed in the green room – so I guess she must not be looking to take Simon’s spot as judge when he leaves. (No promises, though.) Palin also stopped by CBS yesterday and plans to meet with NBC Universal today.
I doubt the big networks want a show about snow and the ability to see Russia from your house, but maybe with the ever-polarizing Palin, viewers would be more likely to tune in. Still, it seems like something for Discovery. Or maybe the Style Network? According to The Huffington Post, the Japanese designer Palin’s clear-rimmed glasses, Masunaga Optical Manufacturing Co., has been swamped with orders for her $400 specs. And we here at Twirlit have already complimented her headwear.
How about an Alaskan makeover show? It’s perfect.
