Agyness Deyn. No, she’s not just the coolest model in Europe who dates all the rock boys. Yes, she does model. But now she acts too. And sings. And designs clothes. And finally, she is starting her very own online magazine, Naag. Yes, Naag is really the name of the website, taking the AG from Agyness and the NA from the magazine’s co-founder Fiona Byrne.
It’s not the most clever name for a magazine, but I guess we just have to go with it. The girls want the magazine to reach out to fashion lovers from London to Ohio. (Are there fashionable people in Ohio?) The site will feature behind-the-scenes fashion videos as well as beauty and travel goodies. Basically things that can be classified under the umbrella of “lifestyle.” It all sounds pretty run-of-the-mill, but given Agyness’ high-profile lifestyle and hip inner circle of friends and lovers, perhaps there will be some cool collaborations featured as well.
So far, Naag.com does not exist. An attempt to check out the site yielded a note that it is ”coming soon.” In the meantime, feel free to check out Naag.org, a website for the National Association of Attorneys General, or Naag-gymnastics.org — who knew the acronym NAAG was so popular? Perhaps Agyness should rethink the name before making the magazine official.
