“Bachelor” Jake Pavelka Denies Ex Tanya Douglas’ Claims of Recent Booty

Behind every great couple, there’s a scorned woman looking to make some cash from TMZ. Tanya Douglas, ex-girlfriend of Jake Pavelka of The Bachelor claims that their relationship overlapped with the show, and that Jake said he would be coming back to her.

According to E! News, a mystery woman (I’m guessing it’s Tanya) called into Florida radio station Island 106 and suggested that Jake’s lovey-dovey public relationship with Vienna Giraldi is just a ruse. ”He claims to be this person, but his actions are a complete 180 of that person that he is claiming to be,” she said. ”What I’m saying now has absolutely nothing to do with him, and it has gotten so bad and enough people know that we were dating. He came to my hometown, met my family, met my friends and deceived everyone. And I feel like I’m forced to say something for the sole purpose of defending my honor.” Right. Because defending your honor usually involves calling into a radio station and letting them garble your voice.

“The relationship with [the woman claiming he's been in touch with] was prior to The Bachelor. It simply did not work out,” Jake said in a statement. “There was no overlap with that or any other relationship during the show. It is unfortunate that people such as this are trying to financially capitalize on or disparage my incredible relationship with Vienna. I only wish everyone could be as happy for us as we are happy together.”

I want to believe Jake – but then again, Tiger Woods seemed like a nice guy, too.
