How did Megan Fox become such a slut symbol? It’s as if women everywhere imagine her wearing a tight tank top with “Don’t Hate Me Because I’m Beautiful, Hate Me Because Your Boyfriend Thinks So” scrawled across the chest. According to The Huffington Post, Megan got very specific about how her image is completely unfounded.
“I’ve only been with two men my entire life,” she said. “My childhood sweetheart and Brian. I can never have sex with someone that I don’t love, ever. The idea makes me sick. I’ve never even come close to having a one-night stand.”
Still, she realizes that she may have had something to do with crafting her less-than-saintly public persona. “My biggest regret is that I’ve assisted the media in making me into a cartoon character,” she said. “I don’t regret what has happened to me, but I regret the way I have dealt with it.”
Megan’s cover story in Harper’s, which hit newsstands yesterday, isn’t her first attempt to reinvent herself. Back in November she appeared in New York Magazine, under the intense headline, “Why Do Women Hate Megan Fox?”
Megan also realizes that nude scenes probably won’t help her image. She said of her upcoming role in Jonah Hex, “I had on underwear and silicone covers that you wear over your breasts. My body parts are all I have left now that are only mine – the world owns everything else.”
