Wanna understand men? I know I could use a few pointers. Fortunately, thanks to Brendan Tapley, we have a few. Here’s what he says on what men wish women knew about them:
- They like the occasional compliment, despite what society says.
- When they’re too honest it means they care. A guy who cares will tell it how it is (even if it’s awkward or tactless) versus dishing out a bunch of BS. Which do you really want?
- Reliability is under-appreciated because all us girls go for the bad boys.
- Spending time with guys doesn’t mean they love us any less. It just means they need to recharge and get back to their ‘manly’ roots.
- They love that we’re different than them (feminine).
- They like it when we take charge in the bedroom because they want us to be happy but have no idea what they’re doing.
- They do, actually, think about their own fulfillment first (life, career, etc) and they think we’re sexiest when we’re doing the same.
- They like measurable goals, which is why relationships and emotions are so scary.
- They are trying, even if we don’t always notice (or if we only notice the failures).
- Fathers are just as important as mothers.
