Ross has found his Rachel. According to Entertainment Weekly, Friends star David Schwimmer, now 43, is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, British photographer Zoe Buckman, 24. The couple has been dating for three years, and it will be the first marriage for both.
Schwimmer reportedly met Buckman in London while he was there directing the 2007 comedy Run Fatboy Run. According to IMDB, he’s also directed segments for Little Britain USA, and is in post-production on a feature titled Trust, starring Clive Owen and Catherine Keener. More recently, Schwimmerlent lent his voice to Madagascar 2 and Christmas special Merry Madagascar. Since Friends, he has also co-founded the Lookingglass Theater Company in Chicago, where he has starred in productions of Our Town, The Jungle, West, Eye of the Beholder and more.
Schwimmer met Buckman when she was working as a waitress at the Cuckoo Lounge in London. From Monsters and Critics: A friend said, “David is smitten with Zoe and says she is ‘The One’. Things have moved very fast. He wanted to see how they got along living together and it has been a big success.”
Although no wedding date has been announced, the couple has hinted that it will be soon.
