Jennifer Love Hewitt Talks Love, Her Butt and Sexy Office Supplies on “The TODAY Show” (VIDEO)

When Jennifer Love Hewitt’s not chatting up ghouls on The Ghost Whisperer, she’s writing about her sometimes disastrous love life. She appeared on The TODAY Show this morning to talk about her new book The Day I Shot Cupid: Hello, My Name is Jennifer Love Hewitt and I’m a Love-a-Holic, her outlook on relationships, and that infamous booty pic that unleashed the meanest of the media. I disagree with some of her dating insight: “I kind of discovered that maybe men have a point when they say we’re incredibly complicated and they’re not sure what we want. And I think it’s because women want to be really powerful but they also want to be the girl, and that doesn’t always mix well,” she says. “You can’t sort of say, ‘I want to wear the pants, but now buy me dinner and open the car door.’ It doesn’t kind of work that way. So I think women have to better figure out exactly who they want to be in a relationship and stick with that consistently.”

Jennifer’s ex Jamie Kennedy wrote the “badonkadonk” chapter of her book, about what men really look for in women (hint: it’s not skinny butts). How does JLW feel about her own body and those unflattering bikini pics? “I never had body image issues. It was always other people who had issues with my body,” she says. So I was fine that day, I was having fun. I didn’t really think about it until the pictures showed up and I was like, maybe I could get to the gym.”
