Kate Gosselin Like a Stiff Barbie on “Dancing With the Stars” (VIDEO)

My groans over Kate Gosselin’s inclusion in Dancing with the Stars this year are now justified. Last night she made her debut by attempting to waltz with partner Tony Dovolani, and the results were dismal. She looked great, with toned arms and romantic, wavy hair (so glad she got rid of her old trademark neo-mullet). But her bubble gum pink outfit and stiff, graceless movements gave the effect of a waltzing Barbie. Check out the video of her performance:

“You’re nervous, and I think that was the stumbling block for you,” said one judge. “You looked nervous so you didn’t come out and dance with any fluidity. You’ve got to get over that nervousness and just come out and enjoy the experience.”

Bruno’s two cents: “This must be very hard because this is a whole new world for you. The technique was terrible. You have to learn to perform. It looked like Tony was pushing a shopping cart around the block.” (The audience booed at that one, but he’s right!) “This is true,” he insisted. “You have to exude something. Assume a persona. I’m right! She has to learn. If you want to perform, there are certain things you can do, and Tony will work on it.”

What do you think? Can Kate get better, or should she just get booted?
