Sarah Palin Wants $1 Million Per Episode for Reality Show

Once governor of Alaska and a vice presidential candidate, Sarah Palin is now setting her sights on reality TV. Talk about a downward career trajectory. But don’t tell her that, she seems to think she’s worth at least $1 million per episode of the tentatively-titled, “Sarah Palin’s America.” Palin has really grabbed her reputation as the “Laughingstock Of The Nation” by the horns here and is riding it into the ground, much to the public’s amusement.
Really? One million dollars per episode?! The cast of “Friends” didn’t even get that until their show was a mega-hit in its ninth season with an audience of 22 million viewers. And Sarah Palin wants that right out of the gate? She must have a secret weapon up her sleeve. She can’t be seriously be so delusional as to think a network is going to pay her $1 million dollars per episode to do things like tour a fishing boat or explore a gold mine. Even if she’s partnered with reality show guru Mark Burnett.
After being turned down by all the major networks, two cable channels, A&E and Discovery, have expressed interest in the project. Hopefully that passes. If you want to learn something about Alaska, just go there. Or buy the “Northern Exposure” box set. Either would prove more educational, and probably more entertaining, than watching Sarah Palin rake in millions of dollars by trekking all over “her” state and capitalizing on her “celebrity.”
