Gaga Designer Brian Lichtenberg Creating Line for Forever 21

The designer who wrapped Gaga’s naked bod in police tape in her Telephone video is collaborating with the popular budget fashion store Forever 21 on a line of graphic t-shirts.

Lichtenberg is no stranger to the celebrity spotlight.  Popular celeb clotheshorses Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan have all sported Lichtenberg’s glittery body-conscious dresses with a sci-fi edge.  This is the first designer collaboration for the Los Angeles-based retailer.  Well, the first *positive* collaboration with a designer. Forever 21 has had to survive lawsuits from Anna Sui, Gwen Stefani and Diane Von Furstenberg over alleged design theft.

I know what you were all thinking, awwww, only t-shirts? yes, sorry, it’s only a line of t-shirts, none of Brian Lichenberg’s dresses or jewelry.  Did you want to don something a little freakier?  Have you longed to wear your own hair as a bow, have shoulder pads that could intimidate a linebacker?  You might eventually get lucky with some actual Gaga-sanctioned accessories, as the singer is rumored to be working on a sunglasses line with British eyewear company Linda Farrow. I think you should stick to just her sunglasses anyhow.  It was rumored that on a recent flight from England, Gaga had trouble wearing one of her outfits on the plane and was experiencing uncomfortable swelling. The next time you feel uncomfortable in YOUR high heels, remember Lady Gaga.

Sound off: what looks do you wish you could steal from Lady Gaga?

  1. You could certainly see your enthusiasm in the paintings you write. The world hopes for more passionate writers such as you who aren’t afraid to say how they believe. At all times go after your heart.
