Celebrity Couples We Love To Hate
They’re beautiful. They’re rich. They’re famous. And although we love to gawk at their tabloid photos when we’re in line at the grocery store, deep down, these couples foster a sense of jealousy in all of us.
And it is the mix of jealousy and curiosity that makes each of these couples a couple we love to hate.
1. Tom and Katie.
While the 16-year-old romantic from Ohio who dwells inside me was happy for Toledo-born Katie to land the man of her dreams, the rest of me just feels sorry for her. He’s shown us all he’s a bit crazy (Oprah anyone?) and she is always accompanied by her Scientologist escort, Jessica Rodriguez when she is being interviewed. Although the couple looks happy in photos, one can’t help but wonder whether Katie longs for her days without religious escorts – even if it means not having her Top Gun.
2. Brangelina.
While tied with number three for the world’s most beautiful couple, this couple is easy for us to hate on. Brad’s a cheater and Angelina is a man-eater. In some weird way, the couple deserves each other. Every time I see Jennifer Aniston’s photo, I can’t help but feel bad for the way things went down. But when I see Brangelina looking boho-chic with their brood of international children, I can’t help but feel a bit of warmth in my heart in spite of their cheating ways.
3. Posh and Beckham.
They seem to have it all, and for that reason, they make the list. They’re sexy, rich, fashionable, and British. I’m jealous of all four. In spite of juggling three sons, the two still exude sex appeal and make it look easy. Whether playing soccer, heading to the grocery store, or posing in designer clothes, they always look stunning. I’m beginning to wonder whether they are even human.
