Treat your Feet with Ahava Mineral Foot Cream

I don’t know about you but lately my feet have been really annoying me.  And with the weather around here changing every other day, I’ve realized that my feet are in need of some serious attention. Nothing ruins a beautifully sandal-clad foot more than dry, cracked heels.  And in all honesty, calloused feet give me the willies. I do my pedicures myself at home so to combat dry, creepy heels, I use Ahava Mineral Foot Cream at night instead of my regular moisturizer and my feet stay smooth and soft all summer long.

For anyone who is unfamiliar with Ahava, they utilize the mineral rich mud from The Dead Sea in all of their products which is harvested directly from the shores along Israel and Palestine. The mud from The Dead Sea has a unique combination of minerals that provide a wide range of benefits. According to historical tales, Cleopatra loved the mud and mineral rich water so much that she had her own spa built there. Well I say if it was good enough for the Queen of Egypt, it’s good enough for me too.

Mineral Foot Cream is a thick cream that has a very distinct, clean scent that I can only imagine is what the area around The Dead Sea smells like. Despite the name, it is not a bad smell but since I really haven’t every smelled anything like it I can’t compare it to anything tangible. Oh well, it smells good.  If you have a real problem with cracked feet, you can absolutely use this cream during the day, but I only use it at night right before I go to bed  of during pedicure time and it’s enough for me.

For severely dry feet: slather a nice, generous amount all over your feet and cover them with some old socks right before bed.  In the morning, you will find that the dry parts are much easier to pumice away with this cream you should start to see a difference within a couple of days.
