Tiger Woods returns to golf this week by playing in the Masters, but the dark cloud of his infidelity still looms. According to The New York Daily News, Tiger’s newest alleged mistress is his neighbor’s daughter, 22 year-old Raychel Coudriet. Sources say Tiger knew Raychel since she was 14, and had sex with her on a couch in his office, near a crib for one of his kids.
It’s no wonder, then, that Nike (one of Tiger’s biggest sponsors) had to get creative in designing a commercial with Tiger to air during the Masters. In the new black and white ad, a defeated-looking Tiger faces the camera. He doesn’t speak; instead we hear a voiceover of his late father, Earl Woods, giving his son a lecture. Check out the video:
“Tiger, I am more prone to be inquisitive, to promote discussion,” his dad says. “I want to find out what your thinking was, I want to find out what your feelings are, and did you learn anything.” The camera zooms in at the end, before fading to black with a Nike symbol. Obviously, Earl is not speaking of Tiger’s sexcapades, but the soundbyte is eerily apt.
What do you guys think? Does it make fans see Tiger in a better light? I think they should have focused on golf if they wanted people to move past Tiger’s infidelity.

Clearly people need to look back on this and learn from it. He is truthfully admitting to his wrongdoings, and that this commercial embraces that, by promoting the fact that we can all learn from this.
