Since we have to endure governor-turned-TV-personality Sarah Palin staying in the spotlight, at least we can comfort ourselves with Tina Fey’s impersonations of her. The Date Night star returned to her homeland of Saturday Night Live this past weekend, and her turn as the Palinator in a commercial for a fake network was one of the show’s highlights. Take a look at the video:
I think we all know the answer to Are You Smarter than a Half-Term Governor?!
With musical guest Justin Bieber, Tina had to share the spotlight with the swoopy-haired tween heartthrob. In the sketch, Tina plays a nerdy teacher who develops a crush on Biebs when he’s the only student who treats her with kindness. With each compliment, she launches into a musical fantasy. It wasn’t raunchy, but considering Justin is only 16, was it bordering on creepy? See what you think:
My favorite sketch of the night is probably the Tina’s Tiger attack as skanky Masters commentator and “Tiger expert” Ashlyn St. Cloud. As much as Tiger drama is getting old, the Masters this weekend turned the spotlight back on the Cheetah, whom even Nike doesn’t seem to have forgiven. Maybe we’ll be seeing Tina in a blond wig more often?
