Scarlett Johansson Talks Marriage & Cooking in InStyle
What’s it like to be Mrs. Ryan Reynolds? According to People Magazine, Scarlett Johansson has been loving it. “I mean, you’re married and suddenly you have your own family,” the 25 year-old actress said in the new May issue of InStyle, which hits newsstands this Friday. “There’s a nice comfort in that. That part of your life is certain, in a way. You’ve got your home in that other person.”
Scarlett has been married to Ryan, 33, for 18 months now – and she says she loves cooking for her man. “He loves to eat,” she said. “I like cooking alone – I find it very therapeutic,” she says. “I put on some music, maybe have a glass of wine, and make something like a turkey Bolognese or a nice frittata.”
When she’s not whipping up gourmet meals, Scarlett is busy shooting movies like Iron Man 2, which comes out May 7. Robert Downey Jr., her co-star in the film, says that Scarlett and Ryan make the perfect couple. ”I’m crazy about Ryan. I think they’re a great couple, a really natural fit for each other,” Robert says. “They’ve really come into themselves since they’ve been fully together.”
Scarlett is one of Hollywood’s younger wives – but I think that a 33 year-old man and 25 year-old woman have about the same level of maturity. I hope it works out for them – and any future gorgeous children they’ll have.
