Kristen Stewart Replacing Angelina Jolie – Say it Ain’t So!

Kristen StewartKristen Stewart may have been the leading lady in one of the world’s most popular teen movies but does that really mean she’s ready to fill the shoes of one of the world’s most respected actresses? We don’t think so.

There are a lot of roles we’d support Kristen Stewart taking. The lead in Twilight? Yes. Joan Jett in The Runaways. Absolutely. But Fox in the hit movie Wanted? Not so much.

Many sources say that the 19-year-old is the frontrunner for the movie, should Angelina back out. But is it really necessary for a 19-year-old to replace a 34-year-old? It’s too much of a stretch if you ask us.

How about someone a little more talented and a little less annoying – like Kate Beckinsale or Charlize Theron?

To clarify reports, Kristen Stewart wouldn’t necessarily be hitting the screen as Angelina Jolie’s character replacement. Director Timur Bekmambetov revealed to MTV that while Angelina’s character did die in the first installment of the movie, he would consider bringing her back in some respect in the second. Perhaps a daughter or a younger sister?

Do you think that Kristen Stewart can save the Wanted franchise and successfully work alongside huge stars like James McAvoy. Once again, we don’t. But we’re interested to see if anyone does…
