The Archie comics crowd is slated to welcome a new, openly gay character to the crew at Riverdale High this fall!
Archie, Veronica, Betty, Reggie and Jughead will start classes in September with hunky Kevin Keller, a love interest for Veronica in the #202 feature story “Isn’t it Bromantic?” Veronica and the gang will learn that Kevin isn’t interested in Ronnie’s amorous intentions as he attempts to let her down easy.
“The introduction of Kevin is just about keeping the world of Archie Comics current and inclusive. Archie’s hometown of Riverdale has always been a safe world for everyone. It just makes sense to have an openly gay character in Archie comic books,” stated Archie Comics Co- CEO, Jon Goldwater.
The edition hits newsstands September 14!
