Fans of TLC’s Jon and Kate Plus 8 will be thrilled to hear that most of the original cast will be returning to reality TV.
That’s right, the chaotic lives of Kate Gosselin and her 8 children will be filmed almost 24-7 in a new show called Kate Plus 8.
Controversial father figure, Jon Gosselin, who has spent the last year romancing all types of trash bags from Hailey Glassman to Kate Major will be no part of the new show.
Kate was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars last week but has made it very clear during her promotional tour for her new book that she will do absolutely anything to provide for her children.
As much as we despise Kate, we despise Jon more and are glad to see that Kate is stepping up and working hard for her kids.
In addition to the new show Kate Plus 8, the 35-year-old mom is also starring in another reality TV show called Twist of Kate, which will feature footage of Kate traveling the world and visiting other moms who have written her letters and asked for her help.
Looks like Kate is the big bread winner in the Gosselin family. The only question is, should the kids be exposed to the cameras again – and will Kate have enough time to be a mom when she’s spending so much time working?
We’d like to see the Gosselin family return to TV but not at the expense of the children. It seems like a little too much, all at once in our opinion.
Maybe start with the one reality show and see how it goes, Kate. Baby steps, you know?

“Kate Plus Eight” isn’t going to be a weekly show – it will be a series of specials (7 or so) that TLC will film – so, not a 24/7 project. Kate’s other show, “Twist of Kate”, will be a weekly show and will NOT feature her children.
Sure, it will start as a 7 episode special series (which is still quite a bit) and then it will be successful and become a real show once again. And while they’re trying to get footage for those 7 special episodes, you can bet they will be taped during almost all of their waking moments – after all, you don’t want to miss something special, right?
I would love to see kate on tv, I think shes a phenomanal women and she does her best to provide for those kids, and taken a chance to do the same we all know we would. I wouldlove to see kate doing both shows. Your a strong women Kate. You go girl

Dont speak for the vast majority of people who would NEVER pimp out their own children for the almighty dollar the way Kate Gosselin has done almost since the birth of the tups. Im just thrilled to death that we will all be treated to keeping this shrew of a woman around so that we have to put up with her on every talk show, tabloid magazine cover etc.reality show, for God knows how many years. Kate Gosselin needs to stay home and take care of those kids she so desperately connived to have.
Just stop reporting on her; we really am sick of seeing and hearing from her. There must be more important events in this world to focus on that Kate Gosselin. She’s an awful person who just happened to have 8 kids. Please stop!

What you people fail to realize is that she does these t.v shows for her kids.. If she wouldnt have done the t.v show she wouldnt have been able to take care of her 8 children how she wanted to.. What else you people also dont know is when they told the kids they were going to stop filming the kids cried.. The kids love having the camera in thier house.. They grew up with it.. Cause of the cameras Mady relized she wanted to be a cast director or a actor.. The little kids love the crew that comes and films its like another part of their HUGE family.. So yes i think Kate Plus 8 should come out and yes i think Twist of Kate should come out.. She is making money for her family that they need.. So get off her fucking dick and let her do her..
First of all for all of the haterz! Ur entitled to your jackass opinions! But thank god for TV remotes you can change the channel! if you dont like change it!! Atleast shes doing what she can to take care of her children then wasting other peoples tax dollars on welfare like every other lowlife with a ton of kids! What about single moms who work 60 to 80 plus hours A WEEK to support their kids! are you gunna bad mouth them because they arent there 24/7 taking care of their kids??? I am glad about research 2 shows! I think Kate is a great mom and is doing a wonderful job. So what if she is supporting her family by way of TV!! At least she’s not sitting on her ass and using our hard earned tax dollars like so many others. She is doing what she has to do to take care of all her her babies. After all its not like Jon is a big help. All he does is pimp around with a lot of people who should never be a part of the kids lives. And what is he doing to help with money. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING! ! Keep up the good work Kate. If u don’t like the show then don’t watch it!!

To all you people who talk trash about Kate; you need to walk a mile in her shoes. At least she is doing what she can to support & take care of her 8 beautiful kids. She has done a wonderful job & she is not on wellfare like so many other people are. She is supporting her kids the best way she can & not depending on Jon or anyone else to take care of them. She is giving them a good life so get off her back & keep your nasty comments to yourself.
isn’t it amazing that everything she does just brings more publicity. And she just keeps egotistically rolling along. All she does is “oh, woe is me” but then keeps showing her true side.
first of all it takes two people to make or break a marriage and she is just as responsible as he is. I’m surprised he took her downgrading for as long as he did.

I support my family,,I work in an office,,I have no idea why anyone would want to watch this stupid woman on TV,I DONT CARE,,she is a nobody,,tell me again WHY IS SHE ON TV ? I have never watched her show and I never will,,,I did see her embarass herself on Dancing with the Stars,,,first of all,,SHE IS NOT A STAR,,why was she on there to begin with? I JUST DONT GET IT.
