I’m surprised they didn’t think of this before. They sell their own protein powder for God’s sake…
NBC and Reveille LLC have partnered with Australian designer Bruno Schiavi to create a Biggest Loser athletic line for men and women.
The 27 piece line will include t-shirts, compression tops, long-cut jackets for better coverage and shorts with high cut waistbands to hold in the stomach for a flattering look at any size. The collection will be available is sizes Small to 5XL, which will have larger fitness buffs breathing a sigh of relief, as athletic clothing is rarely available in plus sizes. (I know, how much sense does that make?)
Schiavi explains of the Loser line:
“I wanted to create an inspiring and motivational collection that was both functional and stylish. Nobody else really does fashionable pieces in larger sizes; they all look like sacks…Everyone’s watching you at the gym, so that’s where you want to look and feel good. It’s about building self-esteem and encouraging people to take the first step toward a healthier lifestyle.”
Amen. Sometimes I go to the gym just because I got a new piece of workout apparel and want to wear it. Wherever you get your motivation, right?
The collection will hit stores in September just in time for the show’s 10th season.
The Biggest Loser is a merchandise gold mine, and I’m sure this clothing line will be no different. I just hope they don’t sell those horrible above the knee bicycle shorts they make the contestants wear at the weigh ins. **Shudder**

Amen! Work out wear for anyone bigger than a size 12 is truly, truly awful. Speaking as a curvier gal, I am excited to see what the line looks like. Frankly, anything that’s more flattering and exciting than jogging pants and a cotton tee is going to be great for me!
When is this line coming out.. i need some workout clothes.. I want to be on the show, My husband is stationed overseas in Korea and im here with him…
