Whitney who?
Bobby Brown was only thinking about Alicia Etheridge on Friday, when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend onstage at the annual Funk Fest in Jacksonville, Florida. People Magazine reports that Alicia, came out on stage, holding the couple’s 11-month-old son Cassius, to join Bobby. When he got down on one knee and presented her with a ring. The crowd didn’t seem to mind the above 90-temps as they cheered in approval as a beaming Alicia kissed Bobby, who remained kneeling.
“We shouted, we screamed,” fan Carol Pearsall told the Florida Times-Union. “We supported him.” Carol’s husband Paul added, ”Hopefully he’ll get it right this time.”
Bobby, of course, is known for his turbulent 15-year marriage to Whitney Houston. (Whitney has been having worse luck on stage lately!) But with a recent appearance on Celebrity Fit Club, a new baby and a long-standing relationship with Alicia (a manager), it looks as though Bobby’s on the right track.
In addition to his new baby with Alicia, Bobby also has a 17-year-old daughter named Bobbi Kristina from his relationship with Whitney and three other children from previous relationships. Alicia, who reportedly met Bobby through Whitney, is acting as Bobby’s manager. She landed him a gig on the CMT reality show “Gone Country” – check it out!
